If a movie is made of a novel you enjoyed, do you usually want to see the movie?

Of would you rather hold onto the images that formed in your head from reading the book?

I usually do not want to see the movie. Or if I do, it has to be a long time after I have read the book.

Usually, and I’m perpetually disappointed

@xixgun I understand. As you can imagine from my username, I am a big fan of the Sherlock Holmes stories. I have been disappointed by every on-screen depiction of Holmes and Watson I have ever seen.
