Name a good fantasy novel or series.

I'm looking for something accessible but not too dumb for some good bedtime reading.

So many! But the one that comes to mind, that was a page-turner and made me an insomniac was a series by Patrick Rothfuss. Warning: He hasn't finished the series yet, and I'm eagerly awaiting the next installment. The Kingkiller Chronicle. 1st book: The Name of the Wind...

Jim Butcher's The Dresden Files and The Codex Alera were both awesome.
