Hemingway or Fitzgerald and why?

Fitzgerald all the way. More sensitive, richer prose. Hemingway is vastly overrated in my opinion, his style is too dry and his characters one-sided.

@Cierzo I love them both, I cannot pick side. Hemingway is primitive, masculine, direct. Fitzgerald is great story teller and his lyrical deviations are great!
