I think i live less than 30 miles from the coast yet haven't had the chance to get there in over a year. 😫

I'm off to see my kids on Wednesday, there's talk of a day trip out to Margate. Not wildly exciting but the Grandkids will love it !!

@Picklebobble2 I don't understand why people take their closeness to beaches for granted...I live in a land-locked state and would love to go often. Shore fishing too.

@cherokeepatti It's [i]so[/i] easy to get caught up in the minutia of everyday life that you lose sight of the things you can achieve with a little effort.

@Picklebobble2 Do you ever get to take a week-day off where you can go without it being too crowded? I would do that...I'd go fishing too.

@cherokeepatti Hard to say. It should be busy anyway ! Mid season and all. But they say fewer folk are taking a vacation because money is tight !
