Reminds me of a (possibly apocryphal) quote I once saw attributed to the Russian tsarina Catherine the Great, regarding her husband (the previous tsar, whom she married and eventually overthrew):

I agree with everything but the last part. Morality is absolutely about power but I reject the dichotomy of the powerful and the weak.
