Is being desperate ever a good thing ?

I was reading this poem yesterday and it was mentioned how being desperate was beautiful.

“But there is nothing more beautiful than being desperate, and there is nothing more risky than pretending not to care.”

What do you think?

I see what you mean by saying it just starts another line.

And this isn't a poem. It's a series of thoughts on the randomness of life and how easily we might lose the chance to say something we really want to say. Or do.

Thank you for this thought provoking post. It sent me scurrying to find the complete text, which in fact is really quite a quick read. And worth taking the time to read.

@Stark It's all good. I love the hunt. I like finding things. It's like earning something. It's always more valuable if you have to work for it.
