@Steve42 Well, in one execution I just read about, King VIII's representative paid the executioner's wages, but the woman being executed gave him money, too. And I've read about it before.

@Mamapolo2016 She probably gave the executor money so that he made it a quick death lol. I could imagine that in the Middle Ages.
