Fiction or nonfiction?

Why?

I do enjoy both. On a day to day basis I read more nonfiction, such as news articles, factual info, policies (relevant to my place of work), even banal things like recipes and instructions. I think we can all agree that's fairly essential to everyday life, but it's an essential that I enjoy - particularly when expanding my knowledge in an area that interests me.

But fiction is something I truly love. I believe someone's imaginations, mixed with their perspective of the world and the thought processes they narrate, gives a valuable insight into many different cultures and societies, and gives me a better understanding and empathy with those around me.

Not to mention the sheer beauty of wordcraft 😍
