How can I read faster and still comprehend what I read?

I used to be able to read real good and fast but now I can't, what can I do to read fast again and still comprehend everything?

I struggle with this too because I lack focus from a disorder. I don't know what to do either but right now I'm trying just scanning my eyes across the letters at a reasonably fast speed and not looking back, not even if I doze off.
