It makes you wonder why the mind should make you think like that doesn't it, especially when not feeling suicidal. Maybe its on looking down at the water or the ground, it seems to 'draw' you to it in your mind n then your mind tells you to jump maybe.

Yes its almost as if a part of you tempts fate or a part of you just wants to do it because every fibre in your being knows you shouldn't (almost being mesmerised or as you say "drawn in"). A strange dangerous kind of feeling. And as I say, has nothing to do with suicidal thoughts or depression and is also completely unrelated to the people you are with..its not as if you want to prove something to them. Its personal.

Interesting. I have had the same urge standing on a cliff top. It definitely not suicidal... it was just... "jump!"
