@dunpender true, some people maybe a lot people need inteference, to snap them back to reality and help them recover, don't know why people wouldnt want someone that cared for em so much that they are willing to stay throughout our potential toxic behaviours, like how a parent is there to guide a child, peers are there to also help instead of just vanishing when the going gets tough. Although I get that changing someone just for the sake of changing them to fit personal values like making them to never swear at all times would be pretty pompous and not necessary. (But then again I think they have a right to say that opinion to me, it's just they have their opinion and I have mine, which I can chose what I want to do with it or not)

@dunpender In that case, charge them with creating a disturbance. Prohibition of alcohol didn’t work too well in the 1920s.

It's more about how they tell other people that they might be on the wrong track. It's not good to be oblivious of mental illnesses. But if they have nothing but scolding and derision and no solutions, they should rather shut up.

Also, I hate people who think that if something works for them it must work for everyone else and if you don't do it their way, you do something wrong. People who tell you how you should eat, how to dress and always tell you "oh, it's not how you do that. You must do it this way." 🙄

But only you know whats best for yourself? I'm sure it's fair to at least listen to others suggestions, or if its nonsense to move on and ignore it
