What should be a nice, simple job working with kids in care. Often turns into a mess when their parents are drug dealers or worse!
I've been assaulted half a dozen times at least. Had people phone me at 3 am threatening all sorts.
Even had two guys turn up on my doorstep waiting for me to get home!

Yup. Had a gun pulled at me in JHB city centre because I didn't let a taxi pull out infront of me.

Every so often. Nature of the job I do!
I report them. They're investigated. Most folk are just upset and make threats because they feel powerless to do anything else.
But. It does happen. Every once in a while an incident well occur.
I'm pretty much prepared for them.
