When was America ever NOT great???

@Runner not just human trafficking but other forms of oppression and abuse of powers as well.. Corruption and crookedness and cruelty exists the world over but it's more common in some places than others :(

Actually even in it's current horrible state it's still great in comparison to some other places.. So yeah it was and is kinda great.. Tho it's kinda going downhill

Thanks @Runner.. If other people in the free world knew how oppressed and controlled and abused the other people In some other places were then they'd understand.. But they are oblivious.. For the most part.. Even within or own country there exist such things but it is done in secret in the dark sides of soceity and is not the accepted norm.. Sigh :)

@epic....I like your response...the U.S. has an interesting history..people have done things here that are in fact great, generally on the backs of some lower class population...
If we could ever get over the racial and economic divides...
We would be amazing.

@epic- human trafficking is reported on, but not nearly enough...goes on in plain view here...and outstrips any other historic occurrence of slavery..
