The trouble is there are literally dozens of English accents, but I guess you mean the Queen's English or what used to be called the BBC English until we became so multi-cultural

MrW888, I was going to be specific and say Yorkshire but I didn't want anyone to think of me as a pretentious ass. 😀

MrW888, Sean Bean is a good one. I also like the London (I think it's East London) as well. Someone like Geoffrey Palmer.

It's not the accent for me, it's the voice. Some male voices melt me.

Btw, I have your favorite accent.

aah you have to be specific when you say English as there are at least 6 very different sounding versions of it Scouse(Liverpool) being one.
Geordie, Brummie, Cornish, Yorkshire, Cockney and don't forget those who speak the Queen's English

Is it Sean Bean that does it for you? I can't think of anybody else from Yorkshire who's really made it to the world stage. I'm from Yorkshire (Sean's mother was my teacher for 2 years before he was famous).
I know about English accents. I even love brummie. I know what i mean. Every accent except the one from Liverpool.
Anything but country slur
