Our pups preserve their anonymity, but every one we've ever had has been a mixed breed from a shelter or pound.
@Kerri: I Love German Shepherds. Next dog I get will be one. Torn between the name: either Thor or Zeus.
@King: what is a Beauceron?

IamDave · 61-69, M
I grew up with Siamese cats. They are special
@Dave- Seriously? I was actually going list 7 names I have picked out for a new dog, if I do decide to get one, to see what people thought. Maybe I'll rethink that now. You have made a good point.
@CereBellum Yes i saw it when i was little and i love Beethoven the Pianist the first thing i ever played on the piano was the intro to Beethoven's 5th Symphony
@Dave: Two St. Bernard's & a Lab. You must have a huge hours/yard?

Big dog. Willis as in "what's you talking about, Willis". Or as in Bruce?
IamDave · 61-69, M
I have always felt that pets actually name themselves. In my humble opinion, having a name picked out before having the pet is putting undue expectations on the animal. It would be like wanting to find a friend named Bill, rather than finding a true friend
@CereBellum Riley is a great name i love it so will name one of the dogs Riley but i have always wanted a St. Bernard called Beethoven so little Riley will be the Chug am really excited i love dogs (and cats)

@Cere, it looks like a mix of an Doberman and a Rottweiler, in fact a Doberman is breed out of Beaucerons, It's an old French race of cow shepherd dogs, but far less nervous than Dobermans..
@Sophie -- I currently have a 15 yr old cat named Riley.
IamDave · 61-69, M
