My husband and I are very hygienic. So, if you mean extreme bad body odor, that would certainly be an issue. However, I think everyone has their own "scents" per se even if you are hygienic. It's also more noticeable in a romantic relationship. I love the smell of my partner. I think it can be therapeutic after a long day to be embraced by your partner and smell them. :) Likewise, it's comforting to have his scent on the pillows or bed when he's not able to be home at night.

Extremely extremely important for me. I'm a very carnal and instinctive person. Very much in tune with my animal side. And in the animal kingdom, attraction and do arousal is totally attributed to scent. I've discovered that about myself. That smell is paramount in how much I am attracted (or averted) to a girl.

Yes it is important. I like when a woman is clean; and if she wears perfume, it is something that I enjoy the smell of. Just the same in return, even after a hard days work, a man should clean up for his woman. No need trying to cuddle while smelling like sweat and dirt.
