Definitely! Have lived all of my life in a country I’ve grown to detest!
NerdyPotato · M
Yes, though I don't know if any other country would be more welcoming.

@NerdyPotato Don’t come to America then. It’s not very disability friendly. All they care is about CARs.
NerdyPotato · M
@SW-User yeah... I don't know of any truly disability friendly country in the world, but the USA is one of the least disability friendly countries, especially with Trump having a considerable chance to ultimate power soon.

Here is the weather of a different Saudi city at the moment:
As you can see it’s much cooler than my city this is because the weather is not uniform in Saudi due to its immense size .
One city can be 40 c while another city can be 20 c
However the dominant weather is the arid harsh desert weather 🏜which is known to be very hot in summer and very cool in winter not only in Saudi but the entire Arabian peninsula.
Here is a video of a British man who visited a city in the country of Kuwait🇰🇼 ( an Arab country near Saudi Arabia ) during summer.

In the video above he gaves you a glimpse of how hot Kuwait is in summer 😅
Today in the modern world , the heat has little impact in our lives due to the fact every room in every house has AC (unlike Europe ) and every mall gym restaurant cafe store workplace etc also has air conditioning system.
We are only impacted when we step outside
But that’s not a problem either because we drive cars when we have to get from A to B.
We also adjusted ourselves to night life This is why you’ll see families having picnics at night or friends hanging out at the mall at 9 pm or ppl at a cafe at midnight etc …
In the past, Arabs were heavily impacted by the heat and tried to survive it via various means such as specific diet, nomad life , architecture, clothing etc…
Pictures of historical architecture to help decrease heat:
the video below is 6 minute long and explains more on it but it doesn’t cover everything

Of course areas of extreme heat isn’t the only challenge there are inhabited areas of extreme cold :

The harsh nature of the desert made the peninsula arabs very eloquent , great at storytelling and extremely generous.
In conclusion, even in such harsh places for humans to live there are people who call these places home and wouldn’t trade a single grain of their land for anything else.

Absolutely.
I'm not finding what I'm looking for.
And I just don't fit in.

Wrong era...

Have you ever been to another country where you felt more at home?
being · 36-40, F
Absolutely but for all the right reasons...:)
Meaning, the situations pointed me towards the things I have to work with... none has it easy, but some have it a bit easier.

Not necessarily the wrong country but there are several countries I could picture myself having grown up happily in.
