I finally got my hands on the app. I added 4 extra pints of milk (I would like to be able to drink some milk myself) and took a box of eggs off (I still think that's too many for now, considering that they deliver three times a week and we're getting 12 eggs on two deliveries... but he's talking about starting to bake, too). He wanted to order some extra bread, too - but I asked him straight "Have we ever reached a point where we ran low or ran out of bread?".

He had to say "No" because I talked him out of giving a loaf of bread away over New Year because it wouldn't fit in the fridge. We needed that bread... just not at the time it was delivered.

So, I told him that we'll leave the bread as it is for now and keep monitoring what we run out of. I can easily add or remove items if we need to, so it's not a problem.

Hopefully, he'll listen to me more in the future...

It's on them to do that. We need some major rebuild work done... the whole bathroom needs taking out and replacing. The toilet isn't high enough for a property for disabled people, the shower drain keeps blocking and there's no way to access that from above because it's cemented into the floor and the shower knobs are broken... they expect me to operate the shower with a pair of pliers - even with hands and eyes full of shampoo because I can't wash my hair without flooding the room.

According to the booklet, we can't dry any laundry until Spring!!! They advise not drying clothing on radiators and unvented tumble dryers are a no no, too. The crappy layout means that we can't get the dryer anywhere near the window or outside wall to throw the hose out of the window.

It's time they stopped blaming us and started to look at what they can do to help their tenants.

Someone offered soon to be ex a pub sign a few nights ago... he declined to purchase it at the time because we have no use for it.

A couple of nights later, I saw a sign from the same pub listed as stolen on my local spotted site, so I tagged soon to be ex in the post.

We were able to relocate the sign with the lady that owns it - and she is happy to have it back because it belonged to her husband who passed away from cancer.

The thief has been beaten up by his own father and reported to the police.

I fixed it again - took some finding the right spot, though...

Now I am baffled because I have a set of speakers plugged into my USB port charging - yet I can't set it as my default audio.

They work beautifully via Bluetooth, though...

I've finally managed to sort out the audio on my side, did not realise I had to be further away from the mic than closer to it lol, now I just need to sort out the audio from the game play then I will be able to upload the first video

I'm going to have to convince him that he wants to venture into baking so that I can hide eggs in other meals instead.

Honestly, given how bad I was just fetching the milk in a minute ago - I don't think that I will be dodging hospital once mum sees for herself what I am like.

I was wheezing so bad that I couldn't even have a conversation with soon to be ex until after I sat on the floor and put all the milk into the fridge. I was trying to explain to him that I had the newest milk in the fridge first, then the older milk in front of it - so, all he needs to do is to empty each row of milk bottles in order from front to back.

I have my reliever inhaler in bed with me, just in case I wake up unable to breathe - but I don't need a Peak Flow reading to know that I'm bad right now.

Ja... that's what I'm telling myself. I know and accept that beatings for this sort of behaviour is an old fashioned form of justice that's still occasionally practiced around here.

I guess that, in a way, it's bought up some of the beatings that I got over the years that I could never understand why I had to be hit to that extreme.

I accept that the father handled his son in his own way, in addition to whatever the police feel is just for his crime - so I don't understand why I feel so responsible for his punishment. I couldn't have done anything one way or the other because it's unwritten that you don't intervene in matters like this.

Out of three coin suppliers... two tested positive for Covid19 today. Fortunately, the third tested negative - which is a miracle considering that he only got his first shot of a Covid19 vaccine the other day because his vaccine centre messed him about three times and he had to fight to be vaccinated.

That means I'm unlikely to get anything new from them until at least the new year now. I may get the hamsters after they finish isolating - but that's the best I expect without the guys working.

It's been hugely revealing for me to see what life is like for an extrovert during the pandemic. Before, I never really gave it much of a thought beyond the "Us" and "Them" mentality.

I've always known that I need more space than many people and I'm not massive on being the centre of attention, either... but I didn't really understand as much about how extroverts can help with that.

Now that I am seeing more, I'm starting to understand more about why it's so important for them to have people to share experiences and things with.
