Nightwings · F
@ronisme1 10 years is a long time. I wonder if it's possible for you to get a new surgery, but I quess not since it's been a problem again for so long?
ronisme1 · 70-79, M
@Nightwings i wouldnt want it now. The test to have it was the worse. But it was nice to eat normal for about 10 years

Bergera koenigii, synonym Murraya koenigii, and commonly known as curry tree, curry bush or sweet neem

Chew 2-4 leaves after every meal. It takes few days. But works.
@Nightwings I can't read what it says about the description...

Can you share the link

I suffered horribly from acid reflux and my doctor had me on several medications. The day I was fired from my retail job in a bookstore it went away instantly. That was 2003, and it has never bothered me since. Stress!
hunkalove · 70-79, M
@Nightwings I think stress is the primary cause of it. Unless you eat a lot of bad stuff. I don't.
Nightwings · F
@hunkalove I used to drink a lot frequently, so I know that was a factor in the past, and why I hope I can get used to not taking them now that I quit (I eat very healthy). I do have a lot of stress though, and wrecked nervous system, I'm on calming pills and such currently. 😅
@hunkalove yes... You are absolutely right
No. But why are they bad for you? Are we talking about lanzoprasol, ulcodin, rupurut, Lanzul, famosan, things like those?
@Nightwings huh. I've never heard any side effects from acid reflux pills. Both my mom, grandfather also sister, lately me too have been regularly taking lanzoprasol or similar and none have any kidney stones. Or anything pancreatic related issues. I'm not saying that's evidence but that's 4 ppl taking them regularly and zero issues.

As for the anemia, what kind is it? Lack of iron or the other one? There are various types I think and sometimes just taking iron and vitamin c won't do anything.
Also there is whole procedure of taking iron supplements. Like no caffeine two hours before. Vitamin c must be taken before the iron like half an hour etc etc. I forget bc it's long procedure and order, but in order to function well, they have to be taken in a specific order.

@greensnacks I have a condition called chronic pancreatitis, and I didn't quite understand if it was bad for the condition, or bad because I have the condition; like maybe because both make it harder to absorb food? As for kidney stones, the doctor who mentioned it was giving me an ultrasound (to check for something unrelated, but checked everything since I was there anyways), and thought that I don't eat regularly enough because I have so little stomach acid. But I assume that's because of the pills that I've been taking, anyways she threatened me with kidney stones in regards to that. 😆 I do have problems breaking down food, which gets much better when I don't take the acid suppressors for a couple days. The type of anemia I have is iron and B9. I know about the caffeine and take the iron pill on an empty stomach. The doctor didn't mention vitamin C so I assume it's not crucial? I think I'm actually absorbing the iron because my hands and feet have become less prickly. In about a month I get a new blood test to check. {=
@Nightwings if all of the doctors that mention to me vitamin c is crucial so the iron will be absorbed. Unless maybe the iron supplements have it in? Not sure, but maybe ask about that.
