SWeeps who are parents: Would you die for your kid(s)?

For example, if somebody said that either you had to die or your kids had to die, would you actually put your life on the line and die for your kids? Why or why not?

I am not a parent myself, however, me and my mom were talking and she said you know what I would die for you. That’s how much I love you. It’s just hard for me to wrap my head around, loving someone so much that you I guess maybe it’s because I’ve never had kids?
