List of things to bulk buy.

Getting prepper food isn't a viable option as it's often hundreds of dollars per 30 servings especially meat. I plan to use everything I get anyways. Quinoa has a 3 year shelf life so that's good, it could probably be a little bit longer even. I could cover my bases with other things if I can find them in supermarkets anyways if we were hit with empty shelves.

So far in the protein category I got:

Dried textured soy
Quinoa
Buckwheat
Red Lentils
Various Beans
Peas
Pemmican but those are most expensive to be honest. Pemmican goes for at least 16 dollars per bar, very expensive but can last 10 years or more, bonus if the pemmican has berries in it for vitamin C and antioxidants.
Egg white protein powders or whole egg protein powder
Sardines

Carbs:

Most of the plant based protein counts as carbs
Sweet potato protein powder
Oats
Rice
Freeze dried potatoes, beets, other root tubers
Freeze dried calorically dense fruits like mango, apples, bananas
Freeze dried cruciferous veggies
Barley grass juice powder
Coconut water powder (good for electrolytes)

Fats:

Nut butters
Plant oils like olive oil, avocado oil, macadamia nut oil
seeds and nuts
Coconut milk
Ghee (for sure, I love ghee and it lasts indefinitely.)

Other things for micronutrients:

Iodized salt
Green tea powder (if I can find it)
Various broths but bone broth concentrates are pretty good or Ocean's Halo but dunno when that expires seeing as it's boxed stuff.
Powdered soy milk, powdered regular milk whichever cheapest
Bulk spices like turmeric, black pepper, chili flakes, chili powder, paprika, etc etc
