I had a hole poked in my left eardrum when i was 10. Ive had a few problems with it since then and the bad part is i hear summertime noises constantly. Sounds like bugs buzzing in the air in the hot sunmer. Crickets chirping. . Sometimes it sounds like electricity. I can hear it. Any thing really high pitched.

Tonic tensor tympani syndrome. A bit like eyelid fluttering (blepharospasm). It'll go away on its own eventually. Get an hour more sleep a night might help if you're a night owl or early riser!
@room10101 have you had it??
