Still have my cobra 142 ready to fire up! I had many handles, original one was Hawkeye like the character from mash

I still have my cobra cam 32, the original cobra 25, the old vacuum tube Robyn, Many Royce radios, a nice old Tram radio still packed in its original box from 1973 with the receipt from Radio Shack and huge collection of D104's and silver eagles microphones

Sounds like I have a radio friend 😊
I'm really big into radios. I'm also amateur extra, hold a commercial radio license and have a broadcasting license (never did nothing much with broadcasting license, but I have it)
I love and live radio

@HumanEarth yes, I started with novice and got up to advanced, and didn't get extra until 20+ years later when the code requirement was dropped

Do you still use a paper log book or do you do everything on-line?
I still do the classic paper log book and send out QSL cards with most contacts I make.
I even still send out QSL cards for CB radio when I make a skip contact
I have a special CB radio QSL card for CB radio

@HumanEarth I switched to using a computer log book in 2008, I use ham radio deluxe, I still send QSL cards, and I also had a CB one back in the day
