Classic Vinyl’s Top 400 [I Love Sirius Satellite Radio]
This holiday weekend, Sirius XM’s Classic Vinyl station (channel 26) is counting down the top 400 songs as voted on by listeners. I don’t think they post the results anywhere to try to encourage you to just listen to their station for hours on end, but I happened to be in the car, listening when they played one of the 25 songs I voted for. It was #371 “Friend of the Devil” by The Grateful Dead.
Update Sunday afternoon: I’ve heard four more songs I voted for: #314 “Easy Livin’” by Uriah Heap, #229 “Fool in the Rain” by Led Zeppelin, #87 “Here Comes the Sun” by the Beatles, and #84 “Locomotive Breath” by Jethro Tull.
Update Sunday evening: #382 “Bad Time” by Grand Funk Railroad.
Feel free to comment other results of the countdown that you catch.
