@RisingPhoenix Those are translations in English. That is not editing. Most are based on the Hebrew and Greek. I can recommend the NKJV.

@RisingPhoenix Most translations miss points indeed. Especially since Hebrew and Greek the Bible is written in are rich languages which hold more meaning than the translation can usually handle. Best would be to read it in the original languages.

Which bible there are many and were many more. Most edited and translated and changed to serve the purpose of the publisher. Not to mention it contradicts itself on almost everything.

It is what you want to make of it.

Much of it was copied from non Jedo Christian texts. Water into wine and feeding with fish walking on water were old stories used many times by those looking to claim some religious superiority.

No one even remotely believes every word was written before 100, you are sadly ignorant on the topic. You are entitled to follow whatever you think is in the Bible, but nit to rewrite history.

@RisingPhoenix I know there are many translations. I know there are bad ones out there, but most are not translated based on each other and so evolving, but are based on the original languages. It is always one step, not thousands.

@AnneHoney Many people believe every word was written before 100. We don't have the originals anymore but many many copies which are in alignment, which is better than any writing from that time and even later.

@RisingPhoenix Because the url says version and that's the word used on the site? The site automatically translates into my own language. There it does say translations. Besides I know a few of these. They are translations.
