I Believe That Words Are Powerful

Words can lift and destroy; I was verbally abused at home and school growing up with it now playing on my self-esteem. It has given me such a sense of self doubt that now I am frightened to do many things. I do not trust myself and rarely give myself credit for anything accomplished.

It's helped me to develop a sense of humor about those who have mistreated me during my younger years.

You will understand I have had a lot to overcome.
Learning to ridicule those who have hurt you helps you to distance yourself emotionally from being merely a victim and it's also fun.
