It's a song lyric, but also a damn good life question, in my opinion.

Beautiful song, with a somber message. One of my all time favorites.

Life's spirals are harrowing enough, when you have support.
But God help the souls who must go it alone.

Not everyone can right themselves before hitting bottom...or even get back up.

@SethGreene531 The song spoke to me tonight pretty heavily when I was down. While I am still not myself, I am not at rock bottom either. I am on my own, and I have always managed to get myself rightes when things have been bad. And yes, it is a beautiful song. 10 million points for you.

But I'm encouraged that you've managed to hold your own, and have not hit rock bottom.

You have resilience and a sense of direction, which keeps you moving ever forward, and slowly healing.
