This is nostalgia.

My childhood is so far away and it's ancient history, but also it was just yesterday. I am both an adult and I turned 5 years old today. The past is the past but it is also the present and it chokes me with everything that I remember and everything that I don't know. I walk into the bathroom and I see a child staring back, they are crying. I'm crying too.
