"Mother" - A Visual Poem by Whitney Tai
I imagine her kindness
as fluid as the sea
as patient as the moon
Lifting us up as we’re tearing her down
Reviving our breath as we poison her mouth
No one feels anything
But she feels everything,
as I wipe her steadfast tears
