Oooooh I just LOVE a good quote. This one I feel has so much meaning at this time. We are so obsessed by blowing parts and the people of this beautiful Earth to pieces that soon we will ALL be blind.
I like the explanation of what that quote actually means: that justice should be served, not revenge; that a punishment should be in proportion to the transgression and not more extreme.
Brings up the question if it's under the banner of war killing is ok. If however it's an act of violence NOT under that banner it's a crime and then being sentenced to death is now also ok. It's all confusing and ridiculous 🤷🏻♀
