It depends on the way you express your truth, too. State the facts but no need to be mean. Just say I really feel (this) way about (that) thing, event or whatever it was that triggered the feeling.. what do you think? Turning it to their opinion will open the dialogue and maybe help you see more sides of the same thing.

At my time of vote, it is 50% on both sides. Must be a sign that the truth lies in the middle. Honesty shouldn't ruin a real connection, but it doesn't mean it can't. It depens on how that honesty is received and perceived by the other person and also on the value it plays in their life.
