Being different is a beautiful thing

I think we expect sheep (people) to follow rest of the sheep , instead of accepting them as being truly unique and different @StarLily

@scorpiolovedeep I love unique and I love different, it's what makes me smile when I know another... them, being authentically themselves is such a beautiful thing to see.

But it contradicts a belief I would like to hold... what you give out you'll also receive. I think it may be a false belief. People don't treat you well if you don't meet their expectations.

The stars, the moon... they have no expectations. They'll still shine upon you beautifully.

@StarLily In one or other forms, what you give out, comes to you. That’s why we should always give our love and care and make people happy. At least while giving that, you will feel good too.

@Nick1 I've believed that my whole life but I'm struggling with it lately. People seem to succumb to selfish pursuits, the things that poke at ego becomes more powerful than doing the right thing... even to someone undeserving. They fool other people too. All because their expectations weren't met.

@StarLily we can’t change them. But we can try that their negativity don’t affect us or change us. It is hard to let go or not affected at times. We should try to stay strong and positive in those situations.
