@LonelySoul I think many men are wooing themselves when courting women. They like to see themselves win the reward. A person is not a reward.

@EarthlingWise I totally agree - But then it is nice when a man feels lucky to have you, not as in possess you way - Is this the same thing as the reward winning you are referring to? I feel appreciated when I feel that he acknowledges my skills, abilities, character, and even looks and thinks of me as a good catch.
@BittersweetPotato Yes, but Skakespeare always presents women as skrews. Nobody is ever won , love is not a fight. Gratefulness is nice indeed, not strategy.
