This is true but hard to accept when you wish they wanted to call/text/email...or even actually visit.
I'm learning to accept this but it's hard. Two people have made this excuse to avoid me during this last year. One is homeless and jobless but not phoneless. One is retired and lives close by. I am writing off both of them as potential friends. It's just not happening. I've known one of them since her birth but I guess I never really knew her thst well.
