I Love a Good Quote

I’ve also studied deeply in the philosophies and religions, but cheerfulness kept breaking through.

Leonard Cohen on dealing with depression..

He is (was) wonderful.
My favourite song: Dance me to the End of Love.

I will be frank here dear, and say this, re depression.
IF He had it, really had it bad enough.
Well, let's just say , that you either spend your whole fighting it, or it kills you.
And if you WIN, the battle, it still would have cost you (sooo) many years, too many tears, and you are not the same.

If he was genuinely capable
to FEEL
to KNOW,
to WELCOME so much cheerfulness
into his LIFE< on a regular basis.
Leonard Cohen, did not suffer from terrible depression.

Fortunately.

Hugs, L.
@Shutterbug: Yes. Perhaps this is correct.
I mean, Look at my beloved
Robin Williams.
I still can NOT believe he is in Heaven and not here with us...

I think I got it now. Philosophy+religion=causing his depression. Cheerfulness=cure to his depression.
