Do you ever feel like something is missing in your life? Even though your life may be great, do you feel like your heart is restless? I believe we all do from time to time. We may even push it away quickly because we are afraid where it may lead us. Or, we may say to ourselves it doesn't matter. We can ignore it and push it away, or even pretend it doesn't exist, but it won't go away. It's there to teach us something, and we don't need to pretend we are happy and satisfied when we are not. It's okay not to be okay.
It's okay to be dissatisfied. It's okay to feel restless. It's okay to question what may be missing in your life. It can lead you to something better, or something different altogether. I think when we feel like something is missing in life, we are simply being asked to stop looking outside ourselves, quiet the mind, and go within and to listen and feel for what feels truly right. Often this requires for us to step back, relax, breathe, let go, and set aside one's ideas of how things should be. The discontent that we may feel at times is creating restlessness in us for a reason, and we need to honor that.
Many of us may be feeling restless at the moment because of all the uncertainty happening around us and within us. Pay attention to it, listen to it, question it, and float with it.
