I would have to agree with this. Something has to be almost impossible before I will ask for help. I love being able to do almost anything and everything myself.

I grew up on a farm, and we fixed everything. I can weld, braze, sweat, measure, cut, and attach just about anything where common sense and curiosity apply.
@mossyboots I married an engineer who comes from a family of engineers. If I try to fix anything myself now, either he or my son will jump in and do it for me. If I fuss, it hurts their feelings, so...I'm a kept woman! 🤣
