@jshm2 "Meh"??

I feel exactly the same. It's a great feeling to be able to solve problems and fix things on my own.

I’ve done most of it. Now, sometimes it’s just easier to pay and be done with it. I’d rather have a day of freedom to play, e.g., versus saving $200 and losing a valuable day off.

I love having a go, no disasters yet (fingers crossed) but wallpapering isn't my strong point.

Usually am. I’ve fixed a lot of electronics, appliances and more. Other types of things too.

I grew up on a farm, and we fixed everything. I can weld, braze, sweat, measure, cut, and attach just about anything where common sense and curiosity apply.

@mossyboots I married an engineer who comes from a family of engineers. If I try to fix anything myself now, either he or my son will jump in and do it for me. If I fuss, it hurts their feelings, so...I'm a kept woman! 🤣

I'm crap at DIY - I rely on my friend Hannah for practical stuff: I fitted a new loo seat earlier in the week but I am now waiting for her to come round and adjust it so that it stays up ;-)

Yes, I love DIY projects. If I can’t to it, I learn.

Nitedoc · 51-55, M
I'm pretty good at it.
Strongtea · 22-25, M
I’m gonna be honest, I’m absolutely useless at that kind of stuff lol!
AceWarbringer · 41-45, M
Spite is a powerful motivation.
mossyboots · 51-55, FNew
@AceWarbringer I guess it can be.
AceWarbringer · 41-45, M
@mossyboots it is. Think about how much has been proven by people wanting to prove others wrong.
