Do you think humans complicate everything with too much use of words, quotes and advice?

Dropping the word everything, then yes. Consider, though, that in these forums we find ourselves expressing thoughts we've never before set down in written word. Before, they've made perfect sense as electric impulses racing within our skulls; now, we must air them using human language because we lack ESP. Give the poor speaker/writer a break, a blank page before them, no first draft, no rehearsal, and a feeling of urgency to say something because an audience awaits.

Someone said "I write to discover what I know." I could’ve posted it alone as my answer and everyone smarter than I am could’ve derived my first paragraph themselves. But I needed it to reach more readers. Too many words? Probably--it’s just a first draft. Logorrhea today; eloquence tomorrow.
