Exactly! I fully agree. This past fall I needed some help. A certain group of people were claiming they were there for me. Anything I needed. So I asked a few times. They all had a massive race to see who could blow me off the fastest. So much for love and kindness there. On the other hand I have a friend who's mother had passed away. While he was driving home for the funeral he just called me out of the blue to tell me he sent me $500. Just goes to show who the better friend was. The other people I just asked simple tasks of. Like showing me how to scan and email a document. How to file with FEMA for the $750 for our damage from hurricane Milton. He had already done it so I figured he could help me navigate the site. No one could be bothered, but they all let me know they were there for me if I ever needed anything. Anything! Just call.
