This really resonates with me.
I've been told I'm very guarded... I suppose that's why I'd rather listen to others tell about themselves than talk about me.
It's a trust thing I think. Too many people have wanted me to be something I'm not... for them. Most aren't interested in just letting you be you, it's not what they want.

I think this is a delicate thing.
If you share less , people may not trust you or show interest.
If you share more , you reveal yourself by being vulnerable.... people might take advantage of this or walk away as they do not like that closeness....
The happy medium is a thin band, unfortunately.
