A great quote by Steve Jobs

And I would even add that fear signifies its importance

Yes, and it could also kill you. Or turn you into a greedy nerd like him.

@Ynotisay it goes to show why very few people in this world reach the top. And I mean that in a general sense

@Axeroberts Maybe. I personally take physical risks. Typically in the wilderness and most often alone. But I don't do that without considering "what if." That lets me live to do it another day. And I think that's the same mindset that people who take real risk have. It's a calculated risk. A little different than some idiot driving drunk or leaping without looking.

@Ynotisay of course a calculated risk.

What a great quote.... from someone who owned a company that uses child labour.
Redstar · 36-40, M
@Axeroberts Oh, you're sure? Have you actually looked into it? Of course not. But even if Apple doesn't do it anymore, which I highly doubt (they'd just get sneakier about it) his company was doing it when he was alive. That's the point. But for some reason you seem to be perfectly okay with that... :/

@Redstar this had absolutely nothing to do with the quote
Redstar · 36-40, M
@Axeroberts I just I think it would be better to take advice from someone who wasn't a despicable excuse for a human being.
But hey, I"m only thinking about the children who were forced into slavery because of the company he created.... no big deal🙄
Yes, for the better or the worse. Otherwise it wouldn't be a risk. You wouldn't be afraid of taking it there wasn't a big chance that it would make your life much worse. So I'm not sure what the point here is. 🤔

@NerdyPotato I equte it to a calculated risk. Not blindly jumping.
