There's a lot of depth to this, in my opinion. Especially in the internet age of social networking. People seem happy in their fantasies, okay with projecting them onto others for only as long as they last, then projecting them onto someone else. Relating truly involves dealing with the rich complexity of acknowledging the humanity in each other, including imperfections that may be far from our fantasies.
