I find walking away physically and mentally is easier than walking away emotionally, as therein lies the true pain of it.

There is a lot of truth in this.
Walking away emotionally doesn’t happen overnight. I find that it takes more courage and strong will to leave emotionally.

@CookieCrumbs I love too deeply to recover within years, or even decades, I found. Main reason why I've canned the idea of entering a romantic relationship ever again.
