Just goes to show you, something or other

In the book The Tiger, John Vaillant writes about crazy people who capture tigers alive, using a forked branch to "pin them down, somehow"
and then the men (usually four at least, which tells me lunacy is alive and well) paw-cuff and hog-tie the unfortunate tiger and put it into a bag (presumably not paper),

Proof that whether you're lucky, or skilled, something will kill you;

Kruglov died in a freak accident in 2005. After surviving more than forty live tiger captures, not to mention the gauntlet of other hazards that take Russian men before their time, Kruglov was killed at the age of sixty-four when a tree fell on him.

......but but.....did a tiger push the tree over? Come on Mama we can't have poor Kruglov dying in such a pedestrian manner.
@bowman81 Usually flyers and swimmers don't have trees fall on them. Pedestrians are more at risk. 😂

If Kruglov was someone who captured tigers in that way, I have a feeling he would actually want us to laugh about how he died!

Widow makers are pretty indiscriminate.
@DrWatson Could be, but I'm not in a hurry to ask him.

The butterfly effect...it wasn't an accident 🐒
@being A butterfly knocked the tree over? 😀

@Mamapolo2016 a tiger spirit maybe did! 🐅
