I Like a Good Quote

There are really lot of opportunities knocking on our way. It’s really up to us if we will accept it or decline it. I guess that only way that can stop you from reaching what you want is you, yourself.

For me there are following reasons why we limit ourselves from reaching the peak of our dreams and goals.

1. FEAR
We have questions and ifs on our mind. We think overhead and assume that we can’t do it. We are drive from our fear that stops us from reaching what we wanted.

I must admit, sometimes I am drive by my fear. Especially I’m still a college student trying to learn new things and still developing my way to become a Scientist. I used to have what ifs on my mind. What if I’m not really going to be a scientist someday? What if I’ll not make it? There are lots of what ifs.

But I always bear in mind, if I’m going to let this fear eats my entire system, then what would be my future?

And I was also reminded that the Lord is the only one that should be feared. And I agree, If God is with me, I should not fear

The fear of the Lord is the beginning of Wisdom – Proverbs 111:10

2. REJECTION
People often thought that a life without rejections is pretty cool. But hey, you’re wrong. How can you learn, if you have not experienced being rejected. Like what they say, successful individuals are those who have suffered from serious rejection, but have continued to survive and work hard.

You can’t just say that wearing stiletto is pretty difficult that it hurts your feet badly, if you did not experience wearing one. Sometimes you have to experience the most painful and hurtful situations in life just to make you better.
3. FAILURE
The greatest lessons in life came from our failures. Failure to forgive, failure to seize the time, failure to become faithful with your husband or wife, failure to study well, failure to raise your child well, and failure to grow

There are really lot of failures, but in the end, it does not matter. What matters is the lesson that you have gotten from those and how you have applied it from your life.
Because at the end, past is just your past. Do not live by your past. Start living what is today. Appreciate what you have, because sometimes you realized the importance of it when it’s finally gone.

So don’t limit yourself! Have the trust in your capabilities, because if you won’t, then who else? There will really come a time that you’ll feel hopeless, and rejected. Those feelings are all normal, but you have to learn when to let go that feeling and continue living and trusting yourself.

So who cares if times get rough, so you failed one time.. Get up, put a smile on your face and do it again... If you try 999 times to do something and fail, don't give up you might think is a big number, but it is not... You might be surprised by the way try number 1,000 turns out, if you give up at 999, you won't be able to understand and try again...

Thomas Edison- " We didn't fail, we just found 999 ways that just won't work "

Maybe number 1,000 will mark a difference.
