”Loneliness does not come from having no people about one, but from being unable to communicate the things that seem important to oneself, or from holding certain views which others find inadmissible.” Carl Jung
Loneliness is when you are in a situation when you could not be yourself or that you have to try to 'fit' in order to be accepted. But if you change yourself in order to be accepted, then in the end, you would still feel lonely in the company of people whose views/values/interests do not align with your own.
Loneliness starts from our mind .... we might have so many people around us, even loving us, yet, we will feel lonely when we are unable to communicate with them,
he is wrong, it comes from no one caring what we know or can communicate. jung was an elitist snob from the brightest genetic sector of society and understood schizophrenia but not normality...well enough
Also the "political prisoner" type is often exceedingly lonely too, how could he NOT be?
But the majority of the problem is in the first category
You’re attacking a persons view, and a man you never met.
It’s possible that he may be right; and you as well.
This quote resonated with me today because of a recent occurrence I witnessed. Thus I was sharing an extension of myself, not asking for negative challenges.
