I Love Motivational Quotes

I don't want to be one of those people who are annoyingly super positive all the time. I know, as well as anyone here, that life can painful, that sometimes things happen that just aren't okay. I also know that sometimes there's nothing we can do about some of these things, that sometimes we just have to let ourselves feel sad for as long we need to.

But I like to think that sometimes, with some things, there is something that can be done. And I want to find out, this year, just what I'm capable of doing. I still don't know for sure what's possible, but I'm determined to find out.

I see the valence you are trying to strike. Lol. It’s true. There is authentic motivation and there is the person babbeling positivity becuase they think is makes them better

Barbara Ehrenright writes about that positivity stuff and I love the way she lays it out. Sometimes that stuff morphs into simple denialism and that is off limits to me and I know I am not the only one. I like the truth and I like LOVE. I say that is all that is needed. I would never lie to someone just to make myself feel better.

@St0ut Yes, and I'm working on knowing the difference between the two.

@Platoscave That sounds like a good way to be.
