I think this is very true of the second part .. its quite common for some people to hide their emotions behind a sense of humour and some of the greatest comics were really quite depressed off stage.
You right of course...so many of the greatest were depressed... i too.. In a way.. Use my humour as a front to hide the part of me i don't want brought to the fore... people often think im being funny... IM actually being deadly serious...!!!!! thank you for reading xx

I think its about having the right balance and I am pretty sure that you display your emotions with sincerity .. sometimes you just got to have a bit of a laugh too for yourself .. the best medicine is laughter is another quote .. :-)
I agree .... Wholeheartedly... ive suffered depression...ive been in the long dark tunnel...with the light turned off at the end...i had 18 months of therapy...three times a week... sue, my councillor, helped me thru the "dark times".....and yes...i do have a laugh...thank you xx💖💖
