Dancing shadows

I am driving along a country road, the sun is just at the right angle to cast a rather large shadow of the electrical cables running between poles onto the road. The cables sag in the middle so the shadow is straddling the centre line. Inside the car, as the shadow passes through, it feels like something large is continually flying over the car casting a shadow.
I guess it kinda is.
